Visit Sedona

Sedona is one of those places that defies description. It is many things to many people. It is one of those places like the Grand Canyon that you have to see. There is a saying among Sedonaites that "God created the Grand Canyon, but he lives in Sedona."

Sedona has numerous varieties of attractions. First is the Red Rocks and their beauty and the hundreds of hiking trails. But Sedona also has mountain biking, camping, fishing, picnicking, horseback riding, golf, tennis, birding, stargazing, and wondrous scenic drives.

If it is shopping that excites you. Sedona has over 50 world class art galleries and a variety of elegant shops. The famous Tlaquepaque Shopping Village is a must for every visitor to Sedona. Uptown Sedona offers all the art galleries, novelty shops, restaurants, and clothing stores to interest all different shoppers.

There are great places to stay in Sedona. Two of the best are Los Abrigados Resort and Spa , which is beside the Tlaquepaque Village, and the Enchantment Resort, which is nestled in the secluded scenic Boynton Canyon. All options are available from the most expensive to the more affordable. Many wonderful Bed and Breakfast options are also available.

If you have been to Sedona, then you have had a Pink Jeep trip. Even the residents love these Jeep tours. Go to places that you didn't think a car or Jeep could go. You will get bumped around, but you will love it.

Of course there is great golf in Sedona. My opinion is that Oakcreek CC is the most interesting and fun to play, but Sedona Golf Resort is also very scenic and a challenge on every hole. The ultra exclusive Seven Canyons Golf Club is a Tom Weiskoff design that is nothing less then spectacular. If you know a member, (the only way you get to play) take full advantage. It will be a course you will always remember.
